Fairy Tale for Children
As an apitherapist, I deeply understand the importance of beekeeping and the benefits it brings to our environment. In the fairy tale for the youngest, I want to bring children and adults closer to the importance of bees for our health and our active role in being responsible for health. The fairy tale is based on a true story and has an added value: it was illustrated by the main fairy tale heroine.
An apitherapy fairy tale for the youngest with a recipe for an api-workshop and a professional chapter for educators, teachers and parents is an interesting story with a plot twist, elements of magic and a pleasant singing song with musical notation. It is written in such a way that children can easily understand it and identify with the main character, while at the same time they also learn a lot through the story.
Since the fairy tale represents the enrichment of modern apitherapeutic practice and literary literature, it represents a wonderful New Year's gift and the enrichment of every kindergarten or school, and especially at home, since the creation of api-ointment in the circle of the family also ensures quality time together.

Writer and apitherapist Nina, in collaboration with the City of Ljubljana, was the first in the world to introduce professional apitherapy in kindergartens and schools. In the manual, she conveys her rich experience, knowledge and love to the reader with incredible ease and introduces the reader to all the necessary facts related to the basics of apitherapy and apipedagogy, healthy nutrition, selection of bee products, honey massage and various other activities in the kindergarten.
The manual Apipedagogika & apitherapy for children in the Croatian language was presented for the first time at the opening of the international fair of agriculture, agricultural equipment and machinery CROAGRO & the fair of nutrition and healthy living at the Zagreb Fair on November 30, 2023. The interview with the author, Nina Ilič from Kočevje, Slovenia, was also attended minister - economic advisor mag. Dušan Pšeničnik.

My bees, my dreams
Life stories of 11 women in beekeeping

The remarkable book My Bees, My Dreams is the result of work by the president of the Croatian Apitherapy Society, Gordana Hegić, and a group of eleven authors. Among them are ten Croatian beekeepers—Gordana Hegić, Jadranka Luketa-Marković, Nataša Bronzović, Josipa Kujundžić, Valentina Salopek, Tanja Schleis, Romina Kanjer, Maja Trstenjak, Nikolina Kralj Vlahek, and Vesna Kovačević—and one beekeeper from Slovenia, Nina Ilič from Kočevje, the author of Apipedagogy.
Editor Dr. Gordana Hegić conceived this book as a tribute to women in beekeeping, a field that is still predominantly seen as male-dominated. With this work, she aims to demonstrate that women not only make significant contributions to the development of beekeeping but also bring fresh ideas, perspectives, and innovation with their enthusiasm, hard work, and creativity.
"Each author in the book My Bees, My Dreams can serve as an inspiration to women, both in urban and rural areas. Their stories prove that it is possible to live your dreams, no matter how big or small the first step may be," emphasizes Gordana Hegić.
